Bunk Magazine Issue V – Call for Submissions
Six years after the last issue was released (December 2003), the owner of the Armory, Dumei has asked me to help her make another issue of Bunk to commemorate the Armory's 12th anniversary this December.
For those of you who never got to see Bunk, it was a small, artsy magazine put out by a group of local foreigners for the Armory. Dumei basically just wants to make a magazine where local Tainan writers, photographer's and artists can show off their best work. There are no ads. She pays for all the printing.
Since this is basically a big art project, we're open to all sorts of visual art, photography, prose, poetry, journalism, etc.
Since this is the Armory's 12th Anniversary, Dumei would like the magazine to (loosely) follow a theme related the Zodiac and the completion of one full cycle, which takes 12 years.
I need lots of help with this, so don't be shy. It's going to be fun. There's a good chance that Dumei will feed us free beer at editorial meetings, and every submission will be rewarded with NT$500 in cash or bar credit.
So, if you're are an artist, photographer, writer or designer, and would like to contribute, then please email me your ideas at xpatmatt(at) gmail.com or by using the contact form below, or call me at 0975 176 771.
