On Saturday 73-year-old Tamae Watanabe of Japan reached the summit of Mount Everest becoming the oldest woman to ever climb the mountain–and did so on a weekend when three other younger climbers died on their trips to the summit.
This 69 year old Vietnam vet was stung 300 times while hiking a local mountain. Was he mad about it? Nope. “I’m not mad at the bees, I like bees,” he said. Is he going to go back? Yup. I have nothing but respect for this man.
That’s right, they took the whole thing.
