Recently, it seems that Pause the Moment has become one of my biggest sponsors through their contests.
You see, a couple of months ago I entered a giveaway on PTM for a Guerilla Pack and won (The pack is great, by the way. Thanks guys!).
Then, last week I saw the PTM was giving away a free two-night stay at a Courtyard Marriott. Ryan asked for entrants to write about why they thought they deserved to win the room. I wrote a long post about how hard things have been for my girlfriend Emilie lately taking care of her sick sister, and sister’s children, and said that I’d like to win the stay so that I could spend the money I saved pampering her with pro massages, spa treatments, and room service .
That got me into the top five entries. Our names were put in a hat and my name was drawn (you can see the video here).
Now, Emilie is in for a treat (and a surprise if she doesn’t read this)!
